Fresh picked, organic garlic scapes. Scapes are the flower stalk which we snap off when they loop and are tender. This helps the garlic plant to direct more energy into producing a larger bulb- plus we get to harvest one of our favorite crops of the year!
Sold by the pound. Average 30-40 scapes per pound.
Use in pesto, ferment or pickle with dill, saute, grill, steam- the possibilities are endless. Scapes keep well in your refrigerator crisper drawer.

I LOVE these garlic scapes! Great in pasta sauces, guacamole, frozen in some EVOO, blended with some herbs to sprinkle on potatoes, in a food processor to make a garlicky salad dressing, or even chopped and added raw to a salad.
